      Univar Extends Dow Personal Care Agreement in Germany, Spain, and Portugal

      ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands – November 26, 2012 – Univar Inc., a leading global chemical distributor, announced today that it has added Germany, Spain, and Portugal to the scope of its long-standing agreement to distribute Dow’s specialty personal care ingredients in Europe.

      Univar has already started marketing and selling the full range of Dow’s legacy Rohm and Haas personal care specialty ingredients in the new territories. These include ACUDYNE™ hair styling polymers, ACULYN™ rheology modifiers, OPULYN™ opacifiers, SunSpheres™ SPF boosters, SOLTEX™ and EPITEX™ water resistant polymers, and EcoSense™ surfactants.

Univar’s dedicated personal care specialists will be on hand at SCS Formulates (stand 121) in Coventry, United Kingdom from 13-14 November 2012, and at Cosmetagora (stand 122-123) in Paris, France from 15-16 January 2013, demonstrating the company’s comprehensive range of personal care ingredients.
