Univar presents full pharmaceutical capabilities at CPhI 2011

Brussels, Belgium – October 18, 2011 – Univar Inc., a leading global chemical distributor, announced today it will be exhibiting at CPhI in Frankfurt, Germany, this year. Univar will be showcasing its wide range of pharmaceutical and supply chain services at the event on 25-27 October at stand 31F04.

Univar’s dedicated pharmaceutical specialists will be on hand to demonstrate the company’s comprehensive range of pharmaceutical ingredients that it distributes across the globe. Representatives will also be highlighting the capabilities of Univar’s sophisticated supply chain and distribution network, in particular the way it handles and reduces the complexities typical in the pharmaceutical industry.

Univar is strongly committed to investing in its European business and has recently commissioned a new, state-of-the-art facility in Lieusaint, France. This further enhances the company’s service offering in the EMEA region, in particular its pan-European White Oils capabilities. The new site boasts a dedicated White Room with a filtered and pressurised air supply to maintain ‘clean’ filling conditions as well as a unique 8000-bay, narrow-isle warehouse. The facility operates to GMP standards.
